Sony’s Financial Report Reveals Impressive Sales Figures for Spider-Man 2 and Other PlayStation Exclusives
In the latest financial report published by Sony, some impressive sales figures for their exclusive video games were disclosed. One title that stood out was “Spider-Man 2,” which managed to sell an astonishing five million copies within the first ten days of its release.
Comparing Sales Figures with Previous Spider-Man Game
It’s worth noting that it took more than 100 days for the previous Spider-Man game, released in 2018, to reach the same sales milestone. By the end of July 2019, the total number of copies sold for Marvel’s Spider-Man was confirmed to be a significant 13.2 million.
Strong Sales Performance of Other PlayStation Exclusives
Further details on the report provided sales figures for some other notable first-party titles. God of War: Ragnarok sold 11 million copies within 75 days, while Ghost of Tsushima took a slightly longer period of 118 days to reach five million sales. The Last of Us Part II achieved an incredible sale of four million copies in just three days.

Spider-Man 2 continues to hold its position in the charts and remains a popular choice among gamers. With only a few first-party PlayStation titles having reached sales numbers similar to Spider-Man 2 in the last eight or nine years, according to the report, expectations are high for its future sales.
