Exclusive: Voice Actor for The Last of Us’ Tommy Miller Hasn’t Received a Script for Part III
During an interview, Jeffrey Pierce, the voice actor behind Tommy Miller in The Last of Us series, shared that he hasn’t received a script for Part III yet. He expressed his uncertainty about the project, stating that as far as he knows, it hasn’t begun in any capacity. Previous rumors suggested a new and separate story from what we’ve been introduced to might be introduced, but no official news has emerged on that front.
The Last of Us Part III: What Can We Expect?
Between the release of The Last of Us in 2013 and The Last of Us Part II in 2020, there was a seven-year gap. During this time, Naughty Dog created one of the most monumental games in the industry. Based on this timeline, it’s likely that we won’t see The Last of Us Part III before 2027 – or perhaps even later.
Naughty Dog’s Current Projects
Currently, Naughty Dog is focusing on remasters and the mysterious multiplayer game that has been in development for some time. In an exclusive interview with Insider Gaming, Pierce shared his current status regarding the project:

“I haven’t picked up a script from Naughty Dog, nor do I know of any project in the works to create one,” Pierce said.
“However, I’m fully expecting a script to turn up at my door. It’s possible we’ll see either a prequel featuring Joel and Tommy’s earlier exploits in post-apocalyptic America or a continuation of the story post-Part II, as hinted at the end of the 2020 title,” he added.
