Skate’s Six-Week Long Playtest Kicks Off on February 8: Here’s What You Need to Know
Exciting news for gamers! Skate is conducting one of its longest playtests yet, which will last for six weeks, starting on February 8, 2023.
Platform and Controllers
The playtest is for PC only, but players can use Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 4, or PlayStation 5 controllers. Sadly, keyboard and mouse controls are not yet supported.
Playtest Dates and NDA
The playtest will begin on February 6, 2023, at 10 AM PT and end on March 19, 2023, at 5 PM PT. As expected, the playtest will be under an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement), meaning that players cannot record, stream, or discuss the game’s content with others.
Signing Up and Inviting Friends
To sign up for the playtest, head over to the official Website. Once you’ve signed up, you can invite up to three friends to join the playtest as well.
Background on Skate
Skate was first revealed to be in development at EA Play in June 2020. It will be a free-to-play title when it launches, but the official release date is yet to be announced.
