Activision Blizzard Veteran Chris Paulson Joins Skybound Games as Executive Vice President and GM
According to recent reports, Chris Paulson, a seasoned gaming industry professional from Activision Blizzard, is now part of the Skybound Games team. He will be serving as the Executive Vice President and General Manager.
New Role at Skybound Games
In his new position, Paulson will be responsible for leading commercial strategy and go-to-market efforts. Skybound Games, a division of Skybound Entertainment founded by David Alpert and Robert Kirkman, has announced that Paulson will also be overseeing games publishing.
A New “Secret Project” in the Works
Additionally, Skybound Games revealed a new “secret project,” which has been under development in stealth mode since last year. Paulson will lead the launch of this mysterious project, and fans can expect more details to emerge soon.
Skybound Games: Background and Recent Releases
Skybound Entertainment is well-known in the gaming world for publishing hit titles like Invincible Presents: Atom Eve, which is based on an animated series. Recently, Skybound released Invincible Universe: Doc Seismic Attacks, a new custom raid in Fortnite.
Previous Experience with Diablo Series
Paulson previously worked at Activision Blizzard as Chief of Staff to CEO Bobby Kotick. Before Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard in December 2023, Paulson’s background includes experience handling product management for the Diablo series.
