Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Receives Free Updates and Story DLC in 2023
January Launch: Ubisoft announces the successful launch of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown in January and reveals that the keyboards will receive three free updates alongside a paid story DLC this year.
Free Updates Schedule:
- March 20: New Speedrun and Permadeath modes, as well as new Sargon outfits.
- Later in Spring: More Sargon outfits and a Boss Rush mode.
- Summer: Divine Trials, featuring new combat, puzzle, and platform challenges for players along with new Sargon outfits and amulets.
Major Update in 2024: Later in 2024, Ubisoft will release a major update to Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown in the form of brand new story DLC. Details on what this DLC will entail are currently unknown, but more information is expected to be revealed soon.
Other Remakes and Un announced:
In addition to the DLC for the latest release in the series, Ubisoft is also working on a remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. However, no official release date has been announced.
