Call of Duty Warzone Mobile Release Date and Game Features
Activision has announced that the Call of Duty Warzone Mobile release date is March 21.
The announcement comes on the Call of Duty website, where the company goes over the game’s features and what players can expect.
“Throughout the last year, Call of Duty®: Warzone™ Mobile has been in a Limited Release where we’ve been gathering feedback, fixing bugs, and continually optimizing the game to make it one of the best games ever upon its worldwide launch,” Activision said.
“With that, the time has come, and we’re excited to announce that this world-class, free-to-play Call of Duty title will be available worldwide on March 21st, 2024, on both iOS and Android.
At launch, the game will feature two Warzone maps — Verdansk and Rebirth Island. There will also be traditional multiplayer maps available such as Shipment, Shoot House, and Scrapyard. Those who don’t want to play Warzone will be able to play traditional Call of Duty multiplayer via the same app on their device.
Players who play Call of Duty Warzone Mobile will be able to level up XP and weapons whether they are on console or mobile. Players just have to login with their Activision ID and “most content acquired in Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone is seamlessly transferred and becomes continuously available between your games.”
The mobile version of the game will also feature proximity chat as well as death chat for players.
As far as future updates, Activision says that more news on the game and what’s to come will be released “regularly”.
